| Description |
English: Coventry Station Coventry's station - unusually for a city this size, Coventry has only ever had one principal station - is a 1960s building, put up at the time when the West Coast Main Line and the routes through the West Midlands were electrified. This style of architecture is widely derided these days, but when it was built it must have seemed a vast improvement on its predecessor - and it is still a light and airy building. It faces a pleasant green square, although there always seem to be more taxis waiting here than the traffic could possibly justify. |
