Description
Français : Amateurs d’engrenages, soyez les bienvenus ! Dévoilée en 1ère mondiale en 2008, la boîte de vitesses automatique Aisin AW HTC (High Torque Capacity) 8 rapports pour véhicules 4 roues motrices, se présente carter ouvert.

L’aventure Aisin démarre au lendemain de la 2nde guerre mondiale, par la fabrication de machines à coudre pour Toyota.

En 1969, Aisin Seiki s’associe à l’américain Borg-Warner afin de produire des transmissions automatiques pour l’automobile, marché promis à un bel essor.

Depuis AW est un acteur incontournable de cette technologie à l’échelle internationale, partenaire en France du groupe PSA auquel il fournit des boîtes EAT6/8, assemblées à Valenciennes (59) depuis le printemps 2018. Et se pose ainsi en sérieux rival d’autres poids lourds du secteur implantés dans l’Hexagone, telle la coentreprise Getrag-Ford Bordeaux (33) récemment reprise par le canadien Magna, ou l’allemand ZF.
