English: Country lane to Candleston Castle Looking roughly south west down the grid square's only road, a lane running along the edge of woodland to Candleston Castle. It is, perhaps, a testament to the popularity of this ruin and the surrounding duneland that some passing places for vehicles are provided on this lane. Certainly, far from all of the lanes in the area have these. |
