Summary

[edit]
Description Green bakelite knitting row counter of the 1930s. The counter registers 1-16 rows. The gadget also incorporates a pattern bookmark, a needle gauge for UK sizes 1-14 and a 6-inch rule. The front (as pictured) is labelled "inches", "gauge" and "no. of rows". The back says "Regd. design - pat applied for - made in England." As of 2010, the book mark spring was still springy and fully functional. The counter disc had lost friction, and could not be relied upon to maintain the number count if moved or stored.
