Summary
[edit]DescriptionCostabonne depuis Roc Colom.jpg |
English: View towards the summit of Costabonne, from the northwest (Roc Colom). The path leading down from Costabonne passes the source of the Tech river. Most of the area in the image is on Hercynian "Costabonne granite". But the Costabonne summit itself is on older, Ediacaran, metamorphosed sediments (Gneiss à silicates calciques). The rocks in the immediate foreground mark the line of a large quartz vein, which extends eastwards to the Esquerdes de Rotjà.
