Description
Español: Frecuente y abundante, nace en otoño, crece aislado o formando pequeños grupos bajo alcornoque (Quercus suber) roble melojo (Quercus pyrenaica), encina (Quercus rotundifolia) y castaño (Castanea sativa). Cortinarius trivialis es una especie fácil de identificar por la gran viscosidad en el sombrero y por las características escabrosidades del pie y por los anillos tan maracados del pie. Posiblemente se trata de la especie más abundante y conocida del género Cortinarius.
