Description |
English: Copper alloy thimble dating to the 15/16th centuries.
It is complete although the base is slightly uneven. It is 16mm high and has a base diameter of 17mm. It is covered all over in small circular indentations which are arranged in lines around the diameter of the thimble. Similar examples can be seen in Egans book (2005; 131/132). |
