Copper Alloy & Iron Decorated Knife Handle
Description
English: A copper-alloy knife handle decorated end plates (one each side, showing different decoration) with part of the Iron blade surviving between. This end plate is from a Dutch knife dating to the 15th century. See Mills, N. 1999 (p.85, item NM.230c.) for a similar example. Also see P.A.S. records CAM-72A031, IOW-36C2D6 & items that are slightly less similar WMID-5168, KENT-655. Weight 9.04g, length 25.98mm, width 20.44mm, thickness 4.69mm.
