Summary
[edit]DescriptionCopper-stained quartz in NWT.jpg |
A copper-stained quartz vein on an island in Great Slave Lake, Northwest Territories, Canada. But the only "gold" here is the view. Interestingly there are potholes inland, meaning the lake level was once higher. The smooth look is due to glaciation from 10,000 years prior. |
