English: A copper-alloy buckle of plain single circular frame and pin form. External diameter 14.60mm, internal diameter 9.95mm, weight 1.31g. The pin is 16.66mm long and has a circular diameter of 1.50mm and loops around the frame. This open ended loop has an external diameter of c.5.36mm. This Medieval buckle date from between the late 13th to early 15th century. See Egan, G. & Pritchard, F. 2002, p.50-65 and Whitehead, R. 2003, p.16-17. |
