Photo: News Øresund - Britt Andresen © News Øresund - Britt Andresen (CC BY 3.0) DSB testar en ny metod att utföra ID-kontroll av passagerare på stationen vid Köpenhamns flygplats i Kastrup på väg med Öresundståg mot Sverige. Försöket utfördes den 1 november 2016 för första gången på eftermiddagen under rusningstid och innebär att perrongen delas av på mitten och att passagerarna får kliva av tåget, ta rulltrappan upp och sedan ta rulltrappan ned till andra änden av samma perrong där de går på tåget igen. Fördelen med att dela perrongen på längden är att då ryms även långa tågset med 3 sammankopplade Öresundståg. Ett alternativ är att dela perrongen på mitten så att passagerarna slipper ta rulltrappen upp i flygplatsterminalen utan kan vandra igenom en kontroll på tvären över perrongen - nackdelen med denna lösning är att den inte rymmer lika långa tåg utan endast tåg med 1-2 vagnset.
