Summary
[edit]DescriptionCoombe Bottom - The Stream - geograph.org.uk - 204331.jpg |
English: Coombe Bottom - The Stream. Coombe Bottom is a cleft in the landscape with a stream flowing through it. This is where the bridleway from Ivinghoe Aston to Edlesborough crosses the stream. There was still a reasonable flow of water despite recent exceptionally dry weather, so I would guess that at wetter times this is quite a little torrent. A good birdseye view of this spot can be seen here http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=sn89s9gygrfj&style=o&lvl=2&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=12510929&encType=1 |
