Українська: Співробітники Інституту гідробіології НАН України досліджують вплив зниження рівня води на вміст радіонуклідів у гідробіонтах водойми-охолоджувача Чорнобильської атомної електростанції (ЧАЕС). Закриття ЧАЕС супроводжувалося проведенням комплексу робіт щодо виведення із експлуатації устаткування та систем. У тому числі у 2014 р. почали спускати водойму-охолоджувач, внаслідок цього стрімко оголювалися значні площі дна, що могли представляти собою загрозу як місця депонування радіоактивних речовин. Науковцями тричі на рік відбираються зразки представників іхтіофауни, рослинності та донних відкладень водойми-охолоджувача, зокрема представлені на фото дослідження виконувалися у 2017 році.
English: Employees of the Institute of Hydrobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are studying the effect of lowering the water level on the content of radionuclides in the aquatic organisms of the cooling reservoir of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (ChNPP). The closure of the ChNPP was accompanied by a series of works on the decommissioning of equipment and systems. Including in 2014 began to lower the cooling reservoir, As a result, large areas of the bottom were rapidly exposed, which could constitute a threat as a place of deposit of radioactive substances. Scientists take samples of ichthyofauna, vegetation and bottom sediments of the cooling reservoir, in particular, the studies presented in the photo were performed in 2017.
