[edit]DescriptionConstruction Works in Galashiels - geograph.org.uk - 247860.jpg |
English: Construction Works in Galashiels. This photo taken on 13/07/06 shows a new extension to Galashiels health centre and the formation of a new access road to the health centre on the line of the former Currie Road. The Station Brae Bridge in the background is in the process of being dismantled as part of a major redevelopment scheme in the town. The houses in the right background at Beechbank Place will be demolished in the event of the Waverley Railway Line being reinstated. The line is planned to open in 2011. |
