Description
English: Emperors Basil II (left) Constantine VIII (right) in the Bari Exultet roll. Its role as actual portraits have been question by Ladner (1942), but has been accepted by Spatharákīs (1976) and, most notably, the Oxford Dictionary of Byzantium.
