| Description |
English: Consall Station The restored (as in completely rebuilt) station of the Churnet Valley Railway at Consallforge. The Churnet valley is very narrow at this point and it was quite a squeeze to fit in both the Caldon Canal (in the foreground) and the railway. The result was this novel cantilevered platform and the waiting shelter which actually hangs right out over the canal. |
