English: Wooden molds lead the way to a reddish concrete base, poured only hours earlier, that will serve as the platform for a fallen Soldier memorial sculpture, Fairfield, Calif., Aug. 7. The sculpture will become the centerpiece of a memorial park being constructed at the SFC Isaac Shawn Lawson Memorial Armory. Lawson, a Desert Storm veteran and military police investigator, was killed by an improvised explosive device while serving in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Baghdad on June 5, 2006.
