Description
Nederlands: Een contract voor het nieuwe bevoorradingsschip Zr.Ms. Den Helder betekent dat meer dan 100 (voornamelijk) Nederlandse bedrijven aan de slag kunnen. Vice-admiraal Arie Jan de Waard plaatste in Den Helder namens Defensie zijn handtekening op het document. CEO Arnout Damen deed dat namens Damen Shipyards. Als alles volgens plan verloopt levert het familiebedrijf het Combat Support Ship het 2e kwartaal van 2024 op. Een jaar later is het dan operationeel inzetbaar.
