Description
English: Comparison of an illustration (right, by Alfred Parsons) of Charles Darwin's study in the Down house with an illustration (left, by Henry Holiday) for Lewis Carroll's "The Hunting of the Snark".
For http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/User:Snark/Darwin, the picture had been rotated by 180 degree and inverted in order to weaken of the spectator's direct symbol detection and to help to focus on comparing shapes only.
