Description:

Commode à ressaut central, sur pieds hauts et galbés, ouvrant à deux tiroirs sans traverses, celui du bas s’achevant au centre en tablier factice. Placage de bois de rose, avec filets de bois de violette délimitant trois panneaux en façade. Chutes, sabots, entrées de serrures et applique de tablier en bronze ciselé et doré. Dessus de marbre lumachelle rose et gris.

Marques, inscriptions, poinçons: Estampille - Sur la tranche du montant antérieur droit, sous le marbre : P. ROUSSEL.

Marque de jurande - Marque de jurande : JME.

Description iconographique:

Les placages assemblés à livre ouvert soulignent les trois corps du meuble ; les diférentes pièces de bronze rapportées adoptent un vocabulaire décoratif végétal et architecturé.
