Description
English: Afghan commandos, with the Afghan National Army’s 3rd Commando Kandak, utilize a wall for cover and concealment while providing perimeter security for a halted patrol during a village-clearing operation in Shah Wali Kot District, July 3, Kandahar province, Afghanistan. The commandos, assisted by U.S. Navy SEALs with Special Operations Task Force – South, were joined by 3rd Commando Kandak commander, Col. Mohammad Akbar, and Shah Wali Kot District Chief of Police, Bacha Khan.
