English: Bonnie Amos (right), first lady of the Marine Corps, and Janet Farley, author of the book The Military Spouse’s Employment Guide, pose together during a town hall meeting at the Swabian Special Events Center aboard the Patch Army Garrison, Stuttgart, Germany, Sept. 3. Farley’s book is one chosen to be featured on the first lady of the Marine Corps reading list available to all Marines and families. General James F. Amos, Commandant of the Marine Corps, Bonnie Amos and Sgt. Maj. Micheal P. Barrett, Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, took their last trip to Stuttgart and Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa, the component to U.S European Command and U.S. Africa Command. During the town hall meeting they answered questions about the current and future situation of the Marine Corps and bid a final farewell to the Marines before Gen. Amos and Sgt. Maj. Barrett retire.
