John “Jack” Haley, Chief of Ordnance and Commandant of the U.S. Army Ordnance School, during his visit to the Mobilization and Training Equipment Site, or MATES April 21, 2015, at Fort Pickett, Va. The 3647th Support Maintenance Company augments the MATES during drill weekends and annual training. The visit was another step in an ongoing process to build a partnership with Fort Lee and the Ordnance School as well as educate active duty Army leaders about the capabilities of the Virginia National Guard.
