Description
Français : Cadran solaire "Ora Italica", déclinant, église de Comano (Tessin). Après l'an mil, toute la péninsule italienne s'est mise à mesurer le temps différemment des autres pays d’Europe. On nommait cette division horaire “ORA ITALIANA” elle est restée en usage jusqu’à la fin du XVIIIe siècle. Suivant la règle de l'heure italienne, on comptait le jour de 24 heures, d'un coucher à l’autre du soleil. Au moment où l'Astre descendait au-dessous de l’horizon, il était 24 heures et c'était la fin du jour (extrait de Giovanni Paltrinieri : Gnomonista in Bologna [1]).
