Description
English: Vaults with niches in the wall served for placement of clay or stone urns in the shape of vessels or chests with gabled lids. Here we see a collection of those from the first and second century in a quasi-columbarium.
Deutsch: Gewölbe mit Nischen in der Wand dienten zum Aufstellen von Ton- oder Steinurnen in Form von Gefäßen oder Truhen mit Giebeldeckeln. Hier sehen wir eine Sammlung derer aus dem ersten und zweiten Jahrhundert in einem Quasi-Kolumbarium.
