USS Albacore Ship's Office Everything in the sub lacked any elbow room. Gave a sense of clautrophobia. Continuing aft on your right, the small space behind the wardroom was the Ship's Office. It was here that the ship's yeoman, or enlisted administrative assistant, maintained the ships records and files. Note that he didn't have a computer to work on, just on old fashion typewriter. And there was very limited space to store any supplies or files. <a href="http://ussalbacore.org/html/virtual_tour.html" rel="nofollow">ussalbacore.org/html/virtual_tour.html</a> |
