Description

Clitocybe vibecina (Fr.) Quél.

Image location: San Geronimo, Marin Co., California, USA

Growing under conifers. Caps up to 4.7 cm across. Spore print white and spores not amyloid. Spores ~ 6.4-7.0 X 4.2-4.8 microns, mostly ellipsoid and smooth. These had the larger spores versus the majority of the “Gray Group” as noted in the reference.
