Clinozoisite
A very thick, entirely gemmy, glassy-lustrous crystal of some of the best clinozoisite yet to be found here. These first appeared before Munich of 2006 and have kept coming since, though in seemingly declining quality. This first lot had the best glassy lustre, so reflective I can see my face in this crystal like a mirror, in person. What is more, this piece has sharp and lustrous terminations whereas many of the larger crystals decay atop into an etched, almost fibrous termination that does not have the quality of the rest of the piece. The termination also shows twinning, though its well hidden by the thickness of the crystal and you have to look down from the top to see it.
