English: U.S. Army Sgt. John Keller thanks his leadership and all who helped him throughout 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division’s non-commissioned officer and soldier of the quarter competition. Keller was awarded Brigade NCO of the Quarter for the 1st Quarter of 2014, during a ceremony at Forward Operating Base Fenty Jan. 24. Keller, a section leader with 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, from Makinen, Minn., spent two days at FOB Fenty competing against other NCOs from across the brigade in a two day challenge that included a PT test, weapons qualification, multi-tiered training lanes, and a final board. He will compete for the chance to represent the brigade at Fort Drum later this year when 4th BCT holds their NCO of the Year competition after the unit returns to Fort Polk, La.
