Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Ficus pumila. Common name: Climbing Fig. This climbing fig is a native of East Asia found in South China and Malaysia. It is easy to grow and propagate. Normally propagation is through cuttings. Once established, the plants ramify and creep quite quickly to cover up concrete and metal surfaces. In Singapore, this plant has been used to green up retaining walls of major roads, and roadsides in many housing estates.
