Class 9b Edwardian penny
Description
English: A alightly abraded silver penny of Edward I AD 1279-1307. London mint coin of class 9b, likely dating to 1300. Reverse: CIVITAS LONDON; long cross dividing legend, three pellets in each quarter. Obverse: EDWR ANGL DNS HYB; crowned bust facing. Piece missing from bottom left of legend from crowned bust obverse side. North Volume II, 1994, p.30, No.1037/1.

16.95mm diameter, weighs 1.2grammes.
