English: Study in steam - a freight off the West London Extension Line struggles onto the Brighton Section at Clapham Junction. View NE from Platform 15/16, towards Victoria (and Waterloo) and to the WLE route to Latchmere Junction, Kensington and Willesden Junction. The locomotive is R. Billinton C2X class 0-6-0 No. 32551 (built 2/1902 as C2 No. 551, rebuilt 2/1909, withdrawn 2/60). On the left is Clapham Junction 'B' Box, controlling the Central (ex-LB&SC) lines. |
