Summary
[edit]DescriptionChurch at Rodley (25a).jpg |
The former Wesleyan chapel at Rodley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. This building and an accompanying Sunday School were designed by Alfred Hill Thompson and completed in 1871. In 1973 the chapel was demolished; its site is now a car park. The school building has been converted into a chapel, which is now named the Church in Rodley. This is an edited version of File:Church at Rodley (25).JPG. Note the 1871 stencilled wall paintings, the wooden platform pulpit, and the triptych above with verses from Exodus in three languages. The font is marble and portable. |
