Description
In the autumn of 1833 the painter and professor C. W. Eckersberg gave some young painters the opportunity to paint after a nude model. On October 23 he wrote in his diary: Roed, Købke, Marstrand og Müller blev i Dag færdige med et Studium af en quindelig Modell (Roed, Købke, Marstrand and Müller today finished a study of a female model). Wilhelm Marstrand became the owner of Købke's work, and he added the landscape.
