English: Christ Church, Christchurch Road, Streatham, London SW2. Designed by James W Wild (1814–92) and built 1840–42. The details are simple and clear, arguably prefiguring modernism by almost a century. It is built of stock brick with some polychromy, with a clerestory and a campanile. |
