Summary

Description
English: This building presents the characteristics of the buildings of the region dating from the beginning of the 12th century, as well as strong analogies with those of Burgundy. An elongated nave is preceded by a porch, the base of the bell tower forming a choir, preceding an apse in the oven. The porch presents the characteristics of the porches of the region. It consists of a semicircular entrance door and is pierced by two twin bays resting on a small column with a tent decorated with foliage basket. This porch seems to have been raised at a later time. It houses the front door. Its frame is composed of two broken arches resting on each side on two columns with foliage capitals. The tympanum is decorated with a paschal lamb. The nave is vaulted in cradle and paneling. The choir, under the base of the bell tower, is decorated on each side with two arches resting on a carved capital. (source: Mérimée)
