Description
Deutsch: Chirurgisches Feldbesteck der Roten Armee (ca.1941). Die Beschriftung auf Russisch bedeutet „großes Wund-“ / großes Verband-“ (Besteck), also eine Sammlung chirurgicher Instrumente für den Feldarzt beim Heer. Beide Mappen wurden Während der ersten Schlacht um Kiew in verlassener sowjetischer Stellung gefunden. Danach in einer der Sanitätsabteilungen der 134. Infanterie Division weiterverwendet.
English: Surgical Field Cutlery of the Soviet Army (about 1941). The inscription in Russian means "large field kit" or wound kit, i.e. a collection of surgical instruments for the field doctor in the army. Both folders were found in abandoned Soviet positions during the first battle for Kiev. They were then used in one of the medical departments of the 134th Infantry Division.
