| Description |
English: Site of Chipping Norton station, 1983. View SE from the A44 towards Kingham, where road used to cross the ex-GWR line from Banbury via Kings Sutton to Kingham. The station here was closed 3/12/62 (goods 7/9/64) with the remnant from Kingham of the line, the rest of which had closed over 11 years earlier (4/6/51). The whole site seems to have been taken over by a Builder's Yard. |
