English: Postcard showing the Chinook Hotel prior to 1925, when the Columbia Hotel was constructed to the south. The Chinook, was designed and built in 1922-23 by C.L. Smith for Judge H.E. McKenney, who owned the building until 1929. It was rebuilt after a major fire in 1935. Both hotel buildings still stand and currently serve as low-income apartments. |
