^l\e Re*;is £Verbearipg (Raspberry. THIS NEW BERRY BEARS FRUIT PERPETUALLY FOR FOUR MONTHS. (See Colored Sketch on Back Cover.) The merits of this truly reliable, everbearing raspberry may be summarized as follows: It is one of the earliest of all red raspberries; beginning to ripen in June just as the strawberry crop is waning. It is wonderfully prolific; the first or main crop being far greater than that of any other red variety known. It gives a crop of fruitall summer and autumn, fruiting on the old canes in generous quantities until late in August. By this date, berries begin to ripen upon the young, i. e., current year's canes, which continue to produce berries in increasing numbers until late autumn; in fact, until severe frosts occur* The berries are a bright crimson, of large size and sur- passing quality-rich, suggary with full raspberry flavor. They are of exceedingly meaty, firm texture and keep in good condition longer, after being gathered, than any other red raspberry. As a shipper it is unexcelled. The canes are of stocky, strong growth with a great abundance of dark green leathery leaves, that never scald nor sunburn. It succeeds upon all soils, whether light and sandy or cold heavy clay. St. Regis is of pure American blood and of iron-clad hardihood; the canes enduring the severest cold uninjured and are wonderfully prolific. All things considered this is one of the verv greatest fruit novelties of our generation. Unlike other so called Everbearing Rasperries, which li uit only in early summer, and a little in late fall when weather conditions are favorable, St. Regis is a perpetual bearer at all times and under all conditions. Fine strong selected plants. 25c. each: 5 for $l.oo; 12 for $2.00; 100 for $15.00.
