Mignonette. Mignonette is the French word for *l little darling.5' No more expressive word could well be found for the sweet, homely flower that by its merit alone has won its way as the favorite of all, though hundreds of showier flowers were its rivals. No garden is complete without its plot of Mignonette, no nosegay finished without its sprig of this sweet smelling flower. We pride ourselves on our choice strains of this favorite flower and believe no finer seed can be procured anywhere. Sow early in the ground for summer blooming and in pots any time for the window. Per pkt* Common Sweet—The small flowered variety; very sweet Per oz., 20c 5 Pyramidal or Giant Tree- A robust grower with numer- ous large spikes of flowers. Branching very freely and blooms for a long period; very sweet 5 Giant White Spiral—First introduced by us many years ago. Very distinct from all other sorts; rank, luxuriant foliage, deeply cut and decidedly ornamental. Each plant bears great quantities of large,snow-white spikes, that are very pretty for cutting and for small bouquets. Grows and blooms in any situation 5 Machet—One of the finest. Plants bushy and a profuse bloomer, with extra large spikes of a pretty brick-red color: exceedingly fragrant. Much inferior seed of this variety is on the market. Ours is strictly pure 10 Allen's Giant Goliath—This is decidedly the largest and finest Mignonette ever grown. It is fine in the open ground,but grows to best advantage as a winter bloom- er in pots. With good care it produces spikes over a foot in length, and of enormous size. Superb as a cut flower. Very fragrant 10 Improved Victoria—This new Mignonette is one of the most desirable novelties we have seen for a long time. It grows only six to twelve inches in height and is sure to put every lover of flowers in ecstasy by its perfectly regular, pyramidal habit and the beautifully formed spikes of the prettiest red Mignonette flowers ever seen. Its large compact spikes are exceedingly fragrant, seeming to surpass in this respect all other varieties. .10 New Sorts Mixed—A fine mixture of a lot of new large- flowering sorts, representing a range of shades vary- ing from brown-red to yellow. A most magnificent mixture and will give a varied and beautiful bed 10 SPECIAI/ OFFBR- One pkt. each of the above 7 sorts for hot.
