mm ^RESCENS SNOWBALL. hydrangea Paniculata—Generally considered the mostvaluable and ornamental shrub in existence. Bushy androbust, every branch tipped in midsummer with an im-mense close panicle of flat, snow-white flowers of gigan-tic size. The trusses of bloom are ten to twelve incheslong and nearly as thick through, lasting for two or threemouths, turning pinkish toward the last. No othershrub malces such a show on the lawn or is so universal-ly tdraired. Grand for cemetery use, and always bloomsfinely the first stirnmer. hydrangea Snowball—This might be called a perpetualblooming Hydrangea Paniculata Grandiflora. It is cer-tainly superior to that errand old sort, in that it beginsbiooming in May or June and continues in great profu-sion until frost, while the old variety only begins tobloom in August or September.
