Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Children of Glasgow Fountain Commissioned by the Royal Bank of Scotland for the 1988 Garden Festival (which was held in Glasgow), this bronze fountain, made by Michael Snowden, was later re-erected here between the Kelvingrove Museum (seen in the background) and the nearby River Kelvin. When (rarely) switched on, the stem of the fountain is surrounded by a cylindrical curtain of water. [Ray McKenzie, "Sculpture in Glasgow - an illustrated handbook"]
