Description

I used my phone for all my Bali pictures - A Samsung Galaxy Note 3, as I forgot to pack the camera!!

The Chevrolet Spin was released in Indonesia in 2013 and is currently only sold in Indonesia, Brazil and China and is also only built in those three countries.

The Spin is a replacement for the Opel/Chevrolet Meriva in Brazil, as well as the Opel/Chevrolet Zafira in that market too.

Not a bad looking vehicle, but they tend to appear a bit 'rear heavy' in their looks as they're on the road. But then again, these are a 7 seater, which most vehicles are in Indonesia, so it most probably have a full load.

These seem to be gaining popularity in Indonesia, which must be of some relief to GM and Chevrolet, as their presence in the Indonesian market has been patchy at best.

What I found strange, is that the Opels I did see, which were only 5 or 6, had the GM do Brasil Chevrolet badge on them and there were a couple of Chevrolet's which had Opel badges on them??!! And then some models that started out as Isuzu's, were then rebadged as Chevrolets!! Very weird!
