English: Caption text says "Syracuse university gridders, who play Southern California next Saturday at Los Angeles. The eastern grid squad stopped off in Chicago yesterday and practiced on Stagg field. The pair of kickers are Simmons and McBride, who specialize in field goals. Chester Bowman, carrying the ball, is a half back and one of Syracuse's offensive stars."
