Description
Português: Destaca-se neste painel a fachada manuelina da Madre de Deus com a cimalha de ameias chanfradas alternando com escudos de três palas, gárgulas góticas e friso da cimalha com pequenas esferas em relevo. O portal tem arco trilobado, sendo o tímpano lavrado e encimado por molduras em voluta, rematando dos lados em bolotas. Completa o conjunto o escudo português de D. João II (ao centro), ladeado pelo escudo com a divisa de D. João II (o pelicano) e o escudo com o símbolo da rainha D. Leonor (o camaroeiro). Os dois botaréus torsos que se dispõem lateralmente ao portal são encimados ao nível dos escudos por coroas reais de onde partem corohéos piramidais igualmente torsos. Dois panos de brocado de ouro com ramagens grená cobrem os botaréus e os lados do portal até ao nível do arco. Na fachada, por baixo de uma pequena janela rectangular, colocado sobre uma mísula, assenta um medalhão della Robbia com cercadura de festões de folhagem castanha com frutos amarelos e centro com fundo de esmalte esverdeado e a escultura da Virgem com o Menino.
