Français : Le château de Suscinio, construit à la fin du Moyen Âge (au XIIIe et dans la seconde moitié du XIVe siècle), résidence des ducs de Bretagne, est situé au bord de l'océan Atlantique dans la commune de Sarzeau (Morbihan).
En 1798, le château — déjà très dégradé — est vendu à un marchand qui l'exploite comme carrière de pierres à bâtir. Acheté en 1852 par le vicomte Jules de Francheville, sa famille fait tout son possible pour sauver l'existant jusqu'au rachat en 1965 par le Conseil général du Morbihan qui entreprend sa restauration. Au début du XXIe siècle, le château de Suscinio a retrouvé sa forme de forteresse médiévale intacte, même si les travaux continuent. Il fait actuellement (2014) l'objet de fouilles archéologiques.
