Summary
[edit]DescriptionCharles H. Hayden mausoleum - Green Lawn Cemetery (42427261315).jpg |
The Charles H. Hayden mausoleum at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio, in the United States. Hayden was a very important banker in Columbus in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This mausoleum was built at the height of the Great Depression, which should indicate just how wealthy he was. It is the cemetery's largest mausoleum, and a great number of his descendents are buried inside. It is also haunted. The doors are chained to prevent anyone from entering. However, if a person knocks on the doors, the spirits within sometimes answer with their own knocks in reply. Be glad the doors are locked shut... |
