Channingway branch zoo

Description

Channingway branch library of the Columbus Metropolitan Library's zoo. Channingway's zoo included a bunny, two parakeets named Cake and Ice Cream, and gerbils. Channingway opened in 1974 to accommodate the population growth impacting the Reynoldsburg branch library. By 1980, Channingway closed and merged with the new larger Reynoldsburg branch library located at 1402 Brice Road.
