Description
English: Chandrasekhara Temple is considered to be one of the first Vijayanagara structures in the Hampi Citadel area. This temple is built in the typical dwikuta style of architecture. Shaiva dwarapalas adorn the doorway of this shrine. The east-facing shrine has a Dravida vimana with a circular stupa, whereas the south-facing Amman (Devi) shrine has a salasikhara.
